How Much?

Northwest Registered Agent charges a flat fee of $225 (plus state filing fees) to form an LLC for you (this includes the first year of Registered Agent Services ($125/year). What is a Registered Agent?

You can add in additional services like:

  • EIN Obtainment ($50)
  • S Corporation Election ($50)
  • Corporate Book ($40)
  • Corporate Seal ($30)

When you add the items above together, the total cost is less than $300 + State Fees — which is not bad!

What You Get

Northwest Registered Agent is famous for its registered agent services ($125/year), but they offer business formation services as well. Their LLC formation service includes drafting and filing of Custom Articles, Resolutions, Operating Agreement or Bylaws, and Membership or Stock Certificates, as well as the items mentioned above. And yes, of course, registered agent service as well.

How Fast?

Your order will be processed the same day it is placed. Northwest Registered Agent states that they do not charge extra when you choose the state’s expedited option. If you go through the order process, however, you can add overnight delivery for $400.

Bonus Features

The “Free Tools” tab on Northwest Registered Agent’s website links you with lots of informative resources, including Annual Report information, a free business name search, and free legal forms.

The Trust Factor

When writing this Northwest Registered review, we had to chuckle at the company’s tagline, “We’re just not annoying.” Throughout the website content, the tone of voice is relaxed and casual, if not a bit snarky, which makes it seem like real people are behind the company. This could be good thing. However, some of the language is a bit questionable. For example, on the “About” page, the page’s author states, “It’s not that we’re some over-the-top great company, visionaries, or even nice people. It’s just that we’re not complete freaking idiots.” Kudos for honesty, but this tone may make some new business owners a bit nervous. If they are this brash on their website, how do they speak to actual customers? When we searched for Northwest Registered Agent reviews, we found a four-star rating from seven reviews on Yelp, and an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). The BBB website had one positive Northwest Registered Agent review and two complaints, one of which had been resolved.

Customer Service

Customer service for Northwest Registered Agent is available via phone or email. Northwest Registered Agent reviews were generally positive regarding the responsiveness of the company.

The Big Picture

If registered agent service is your primary focus and you have a no-nonsense attitude (and a sense of humor), Northwest Registered Agent could be a good fit. They also seem to be a reliable company for those who wish to start an LLC online. However, they are quite a bit pricier than many competitors, especially our number one choice, IncFile.
